The Dickens of a Festival

Blast Furness led the parade at the Dickensian Festival in Ulverston today. We were on the stage at the finale where we had a great view of the contestants in the Victorian costume competition, judged by Queen Victoria herself; there were prizes for the best dressed child, gentleman and lady, and also the rather bizarre best facial hair (see extras).
