Superstar!

A couple of weeks ago Mr T got us this little fibre optic Christmas tree from Aldi.  I'm not going to be able to get the decorations down from the loft at the moment so I ordered some on the 3 for 2 offer with the weekly shop.  They looked good as they had a star too, but when they came I thought "Oops!  They are a bit big.  How silly"!  Luckily I ordered some smaller ones and Mr T suggested stringing the bigger ones up above the fire place.

We went to see Dad again today and he felt a bit poorly and so very quickly he was back in bed and hooked up to the ECG.  By coincidence the BRI rang to ask for a patient to be transferred at that time, so as they had seen some changes in his ECG it meant he was the most critical patient to transfer.  When we left he was waiting for an ambulance to transfer him.  It will be a nerve-racking few days now until he is operated on and awake again, but better than the not knowing.
