One of several closes which join the High Street with Cockburn Street. Another day when it didn't really get light - I suppose you could call it "atmospheric" in this shot.

I had been to see a new exhibition of Edinburgh street photography by Robert Blomfield taken mostly in the mid 60s and never exhibited before. Well worth seeing, particularly if you know Edinburgh - several of my photography group were brought up in Edinburgh and remembered the parts which were subsequently demolished.
