Open wide

In the gardening section of the Press today, on the to do list was cover trees to protect fruit from birds.  Bit late for my cherry tree, starlings, blackbirds, these little waxeyes and even a thrush have been stripping the fruit for days.  I did try covering it a few years ago but the birds still got in and then got trapped. So today I traded a few cherries for some photos, dull grey sky didn't make for a great background but they are super cute.
