Deer out in the open

Another beautiful day today, a clear, crisp, very cold winter morning. I have almost been spoilt for choice today. I took some great landscape photos on my way to the gym and on the way back I noticed the deer had come down from the woods. I couldn't resist the deer!

I know it is a common photo, but this guy looked rather majestic sitting in the sun watching over his herd. (is it a herd?)

Off to London this afternoon, I'm hoping to get some shots at a football match tomorrow, then dash back here for a night in the local pub on my umpteenth birthday.
