Presentation

Had to be in Bristol early to give a presentation to a room of first year doctoral students. I was first on and relieved it seemed to go well. Afternoon of planning. Met one of my old tutors from when I did a masters degree in Bristol about 18 years ago how time flies!

Photo is of QEH (Queen Elizabeth’s Hospital) which was taken from the car park before I left. It’s built on the site of a Jewish Cemetery and the school was originally for boys from very poor families and seemed to be run on money left in the wills of rich people who wanted to “do something good”.

I think by about the 1920s it became a fee paying school and is now in the private education sector.
