Day After the Coldest Thanksgiving

They say this is the coldest day in Central New York State since recording in 1871.
I woke up to a temperature that was -22ºC or minus 8ºF. This is what I would expect in February!
We are hoping tomorrow will be above zero. I have heard we will have rain rather than snow for the next two days. The scarlet oak tree is showing up beautifully against the snow now.
We shall see.
