Home soon.....!

I love this photo. It tells such a story of recovery and the prayers of many friends. We had a great time this afternoon. Well, she is very good at listening while I rabbit on.....

Gail has been told she can look forward to going home at the end of the week. She has been climbing stairs and walking along corridors to build strength and is eating rather more than over the last 5 weeks of hospitalisation. She has been critically ill and given the doctors and nurses a scare but has come through to this point and is thrilled to be going home, although also justifiably a little anxious. She has a lot to get used to and will need support at home but her smile has never left her. I am sure we will soon be enjoying our days out again. 

It's been a full week. Blip has been neglected; posting and commenting. I have filled the gaps now but wanted to make sure this photo was seen by those here who have followed Gail's progress over the last weeks and months. Her journey began in April and isn't over yet, but the worst most surely is.
