What I see when I go to the dentist

This is the view from the couch or chair where one sits in the dentist's exam room (where I was this morning). The mobile is, I'm guessing, designed to put children at ease. It puts me at ease for sure, or at least distracts me. It always feels to me like the ceiling lights are way too bright, but I'd prefer to know that the dentist or hygienist can see well than to be comfortable. I can always close my eyes.
