Cataracts

I think I need to ask for forgiveness even before I say what was on my mind as I cooked these eggs.

I sat with my mother through a doctors appointment. She had both cataracts done in 1991 but her eyes appear cloudy now. The doctor explained that the lenses can get cloudy years after cataract operations and he has referred her to the eye hospital.

I looked at these 2 eggs and thought of my mum’s eyes.

... so perhaps I do need to ask for forgiveness for such a weird thought ...
