I had a lay day today. The Boss had his SeniorNet hat on and had a couple of wireless networks with new iPads to set up and introduce to their owners and as it was a nice warm 23c day and very sunny, I got to stay home and lay about the place alternating between the sun and the shade and repeat until done.
We had a really interesting discussion yesterday on resolution and the Blip print environment and just for fun tonight The Boss went into Photoshop and created an A4 image at 240 px per inch, which is a quality print resolution and the resolution was 2740 x 2055 px so if you size your uploads to this all should be well for images up to A4. You are better to size to pixels rather than Mb's as the jpg compression process will produce different file sizes depending on the colour distribution . i.e. an image with a lot of sky will compress to a smaller file than one with a large colour range. I do not understand any of this but that's what The Boss said to say. OK?
My idea of resolution is me starving hungry and then being fed. Resolution...OK?
Right then.
After all the stunning activity... hot...shade ... hot....shade...etc. The Boss thought a stick after grub was a good idea and it certainly was. There is this magic moment just before the sun goes behind the mountain and this was it. The Boss has a new "sling" bag which carries everything including mini tripod. It is very handy for those "for goodness sake hurry up" shots and of course you don't have to take it off to get important stuff out like small bottles of Coke Zero or chocolate bars. Oh yes and camera stuff every so often too.
Is something under that tree?
