Another day, another sunrise ...
After yesterday's chilly grey sea and apocalyptic sky, I couldn't resist blipping today's pre-sunrise moment with its glowing shreds of cloud above Ayrshire - a moment that a friend who lives a little further down the coast also snapped for Facebook. This is a third of the view from my bedroom, taken from the right-hand of three windows, with the silhouette of the Argyll Hotel in the middle of the streetscape below.
And as an extra, the view across the fields at the Ardyne road in the south of the peninsula. The dead grass is golden, the sunlight is golden, the clouds that are now giving us thin rain have not yet arrived. A busy day, ending in a hard-working meeting, but any day in which I still managed a decent walk has been a good one.
