that time of year again

Today has mainly involved birthday prep. What a joy to be able to celebrate lovely Zeke. I’m feeling very aware of the gift of family today as tragedy unfolded for another local family. And as our friends work hard to launch a homeless bus before temperatures plummet further, tonight I’m very grateful for our warm home.
