Thursday: Twisted Hazel Catkins ...

... waiting for Spring! Lots of leaves are still on the bush and have turned a beautiful gold.
A beautiful sunny morning, clear and bright, not a cloud in the sky and no wind.
MrD went off shopping and came home via his sister where they’d had a good old natter.
I collected 4 black bags of leaves which will turn to leaf mould, the concrete paths are now clear, until the next wind!
Stood outdoors peeling another batch of pickling onions, it’s so much easier to have them in a big bowl of warm water with lots of fresh air to prevent runny eyes!!
We lit the log burner this evening ...
