That's me in the mirror

My morning has been by far the best part of my day. I took Bo out a ride with no route in mind and ended up along the shore then through the street in Stromness. If I'd tried to arrange as many horse frightening happenings, I couldn't have done a better job. Several cars thought it was a good idea to start their engines just as we drew level with them. An old woman didn't see us and pulled out as we were beside her car. A man removed the cover from his motorcycle and shook off the rain just as we walked past. We met all sorts of traffic, dogs, golf course machinery, construction workers... let alone the tall narrow street where people and things suddenly appear from all directions. As it happens, the most frightening thing was me undoing my zip on my coat, other than that she didn't flinch. She was clearly very switched on and taking it all in and needed a little encouragement a couple of times but what a very brave little horse ❤️. I could tell she was mentally exhausted after her trip down the street so we just plodded back home. After a little window shopping ;)

I was then in to town for a meeting and back home for a late walk of the woofers.

My day has progressively deteriorated, my mood darkening and my stress levels rising. Thankfully I realised just a few hours in that it's PMT. Normally I go a couple of days trying not to murder people before I realise the cause. Once I realise, I always feel much better about the murders.

Gorgeous is away on another desert island. Eday this time. Well timed on his part.
