On the Run

I spent about an hour chasing this blue heron around and only got a couple half decent pictures. But this one sort of sums up our run around. I got somewhat close a few times but not close enough for a really good shot. Two guys in a skiff came down the river and back up so this guy was getting some good exercise flying around. He finally landed in this tree, so after a few more tries I called it quits and figured what ever I had would have to do!! The rain started up about that time, so on to the car. Then home for a cup of hot tea and work on my Fillet crochet after picking up Grandpa at the Mall. Good day all in all.
