The land once called Holy.

This is a very important wall-hanging to me. I was given it by a group of women, Palestinian Christians, who made it from olive tree wood, in a small wooden hut in the shepherd's field, near Bethlehem. It reminds me of people on the margins, people who don't fit in, small children who seek refuge, it speaks to me of war and conflict. If I am a true peace builder, I need to put as much effort into the peace project as those who stand against reconciliation do in their attempts to damage fragile relationships.
