A "shopping centre"

This is a shopping centre! These popped up all over the place in the late 1960s and early 1970s. This one was built in the late 1960s.

If you look at the blip you will see that only three shops are open - a pharmacy; opticians and bric-a-brac store. Over the years shops have moved from these little community places. Now we all go to Tesco :( (I do this too).

I think these little centres could flourish again if they had shops that were complimentary to the big boys. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled - if I see one I'll blip it.
