Humidifier lights

Now that the outside temperature is lower, our central heating has kicked in. That makes the air in our living room very dry. Last winter, this has lead to cracks in our wooden floor. The air humidifier we got last winter will hopefully prevent that from happening again. Being an IT nerd, I naturally had to connect the humidifier power switch to my home automation system. When the humidity in the living room gets too low, the humidifier is automatically started. As always, the human factor is the weak link: this will only work if there’s enough water in the humidifier...
