Bathroom renovations

My landlady is keen to sort out refitting the bathroom and replacing the bedroom windows except she is not in the country and I am having to liaise with many different people - she knows lots of people who are good at DIY (I hope) - problem is everything is being done in stages, slowly - if it gets any worse I'll be moving in with N!
