Bitter sweet...

A response was received from the council today, denying liability for mum’s accident as the uneven paving slabs were, “within tolerance levels deemed permissible by the courts.” They went on to say that, “it is not reasonable or realistic to expect the Highways authority to ensure that all footpaths are perfectly level at all times.”

So apparently it is quite acceptable around here to have uneven paving slabs that have caused four accidents so far, and who knows how many more to come. Bitter news...

But rather than dwelling on the bitter, I’ll leave you with something sweet, a little furry face...
