Frozen ivy

One of our chickens has succumbed to the cold. Poor Katie died last night without a mark on her, and so I can only assume it was the hard frost we are experiencing here. She was always the last out of the coop in the morning and the quietest of the hens. Ironically, yesterday I ordered an extra insulating cover for the Eglu without knowing that I should have done this earlier.
