Light snowfall over the Lewis Pass .....

It was all very pretty! 

This was our last day of our Heaphy Track adventure, and I'm delighted that I've done it! I knew that my companion would take it in his stride (literally) but it was a bigger ask for me. Wonderful scenery, we met some very lovely people, and saw amazing sights. What more could I ask!

So it was back home to Christchurch and picking up the threads of life again. There was a fair bit of washing to be hung out .........
