Smashing

This one is for joep and Coilinp on their birthdays.  'smashing' was one of joe's words, not usually reserved for surf admittedly. 

I hadn't intended to go to the beach, but when I saw the swell and knew the time of the tide I drove that extra 10 minutes, and it was so impressive.  There are a few extras.  This and the shot of the two surfers sharing the wave are hugely cropped, and I'm impressed once again with my camera. The sensor dust is most disappointing though.  What can I do about that? I very rarely change lenses...where is it coming from? 

Mini pavlovas and lemon drizzle cake made today. 

2/2 on the swimming.  1/2 in the outdoor hot tub.
