I have seen the Xmas light!

We are now on that slippery slope to Christmas. The tell tale LED's are begining to twinkle through the blackness of the evenings. Hidden covertly during the day behind the mesh curtains, they now appear like beacons through the windows and pierce the gloom of the darkened streets.
This Xmas expectancy has slipped onto the streets, with a slight increase in the footfall that is starting to throng the pavements. This character battled the cold while appearing quite happy with his lot and the numerous bags of shopping he was laden under.
