Ellesmere Port Boat Museum

We visited the boat museum back in March but ran out of time so we returned to today for another look around. The tickets we bought in March act as an annual pass, which is a good idea, so we didn't need to pay.

The interesting fact I learnt is that Ellesmere Port was initially promoted as a seaside resort when the canal opened. Anyone that knows Ellesmere Port will find this very hard to believe.
