Raindrops.....

Here in our garden is the rose, Heaven’s Scent, in bud form with a delphinium behind it. The rose is adorned with raindrops from yesterday’s rain. Despite huge threatening clouds, hailstorms near Picton, 30 Kms away, all we got in our rain gauge this morning was 6 mls. Maisie missed an early morning walk today as she had a very sore left eye. So it was off to the Vet this morning. She has a nasty abrasion on her cornea. We suspect she ran into a tree or shrub branch while racing through trees in our garden. So hopefully, with the treatment plan her eye will heal up quickly. . Poor little girl!
