Anti-sunrise

As it was shaping up for another good sunrise, and I didn't have to go to work, I went for a walk before breakfast to see if I could find some alternative views and see if the sun was reflected in the ponds as it came up (it was too far SSE for this, it transpired).
I noticed the sky in every direction was colourful and took several shots of the different effects but then I saw this seedhead standing tall against the pink in the northern sky.
We had another great sunset, but I deliberately didn't take the camera when we went out (to buy running sruff) as I'd decided my blip was going to be this, so I just enjoyed it.
