Leaf It Alone

No apologies for the pun!

I managed to find street parking in town this morning. While walking to the Y, I saw a boot someone had left on the sidewalk. I was too eager to get to pickleball to stop for a photo -- I hadn't played since a week ago.

When I returned to my car a couple of hours later I encountered the same boot in the roadway, a couple of blocks from its earlier location. Someone drove over it while I was waiting for the light to change. I moved it to the sidewalk for my photo.

I didn't see anyone limping --  coming or going.
