Vanja's Turn

Another old photo... This one from the seventies, but comparable to the one I posted of Moira and me. Vanja was born on November 18th, so another birthday to celebrate. This photo was shot by Philip Ames of my son and myself looking at a book of Photographs. It is in the summertime in New Orleans. No air conditioning in those days and we are dressed appropriately. Little hippie family that we were, I am wearing a sundress that I made from an India Print bedspread . My little Vanja was easy-going and easy to love. Forty-five years later, he still is. Though now he is six foot three...
