Into the vortex

I spent a good while reading my work papers this morning. When I felt my head was fit to burst I took myself into the garden for a bit of chopping back therapy. I decided to look in one of the compost bins and - yikes! I'm not keen on spiders, even though I know they're gardeners' friends. Luckily I think these nests are all empty. Though that of course means the spiders are on the loose.

I'll be back to reading later but I'll also get some well rotted home-made compost onto the garden.

I'm going to enter this monstrosity for the Mono Monday challenge 'crowded' (even though I said I think the nests are empty!) I reckon this is crowded with webs. Thanks to 60Plus for hosting.
