Standing proud

Its actually quite hard to photograph birds as they don't stay still for long so its a bit hit and miss! Anyhow I did get some shots I am happy with and I didn't realise how pretty this bird is until I saw it on the computer screen.

Its been another dry day today but very cold and has remained at between 0 and 1c all day. Bonnie is not a well girl today, sick in the night and off her food and lethargic. Fingers crossed she'll be ok tomorrow as I have to go into the Lakes and would hate to have to leave her at home.
