inspired by 'The Duck'

Pam gave us this letter rack years ago. We had real live ducks at the time, which became almost part of the family - but only on their terms. They were very shy. We gave them to a farmer friend when we moved back into town and they must be dead by now.

This wooden one serves as a reminder, and as a useful place to keep bills, postcards, brochures and bus timetables. 'It's in the duck' is a common call when an item of mail cannot be found.
