Another iris

This time another of the Japanese bog irises that we have growing in our garden pond. A cheery splash of gold with the royal purple as the day has faded from sunshine to grey and distinctly cooler too, as the Antarctic blast of late Spring just chills the day down somewhat. Nothing approaching the unseasonal snow of the South however.
Dr D and friend Barry have spent the last 4 days sealing and painting our new plastered walls outside the stitching cave and staining and mounting the seating that Dr D has made over in his shed. It's all beginning to come together very nicely.
