Ancient gargoyle found in Sauchiehall Street Dig

WonderA and I gambolled through Glasgow this afternoon...

Inevitably it became something of a MiniMack trail, paying our respects to the devastation of the Art School, we passed up lunch at the po-faced, refurbed Willow Tea Rooms, preferring instead the real, grubby warmth of the Student Union Bar.

Trecking west we went all white on white in the Mackintosh House, ending with tea and gingerbread ice-cream at the glory which is the University Cafe.

Good ice-cream is WonderA's primary passion...back in Princes Street we indulged another, the Hogmanay-Ready Star Flyer Ride with the best ever views of the Scott Memorial.
