Imperial Nerd

At the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia I found a statue of my first love, the Roman emperor Claudius. While my friends admired pop stars like ordinary teenagers this first nerd ever known - who never wanted to become an emperor but wrote several books about history and language - inspired me to learn about Roman history and culture.
