flour/flowers

No idea why this vase of flowers was standing outside the church door today but it was pretty enough to photograph in the lovely morning sunshine.

I have had my hands in flour for quite a bit of today as I'm trying a new sourdough recipe which calls for folding the dough every 30 mins 6 times and then resting (the dough) and so on. It started off with a levain last night and should end up as a loaf 24 hours later. It's rising just now in the Dutch oven (I hope). *

While it was resting I got on with tidying the borders. Gardens, like bread, take time, but it's time well spent :-)
