Rays of Light

A morning of intensive travel bookings at Kuoni’s lovely shop in George Street - made all the more intensive by a certain bank’s travel services. All done and all good. That’s February sorted. 
Then out to the footy - the Scottish Challenge Cup (what that?) has reached the quarter final stages and local favourites Edinburgh City are playing the feared Wasps aka Alloa Athletic - two divisions above them. And the son came along (as did Cigs and the ciglettes). So it was good to sit and bond over some football and shared memories -  the son’s old football coach at Beechwood is now a Director at EFC and we bumped into him as we made our way for the half time pies. And what a game - Alloa quickly went 2-0 up, but gradually were outplayed and it ended two apiece - and then a penalty shot-out - whoah! EFC win 4-3.
Home for a warming evening (no fire on yet, though) and a Netflix film - I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore. Perfect Saturday night entertainment.
