nine fruitless months at an end
after last week's miss

I was sooooo frustrated last Saturday when South Africa scored a last-minute try to beat France in the first of three autumn test matches. I have to admit the first two minutes of this Saturday's game were very trying (hahaha) on my nerves - I actually wondered if I'd watch the whole game. But being a faithful supporter I stayed. And I was very happy with how France played. The forwards were first-rate (Guirado who scored the last try, but actually the whole pack seeing how the scrums went), the three-quarters were top (Bastareaud, pictured here, and of course Fickou and Thomas). All in all a very pleasant evening!
