Doorstop or Dagwood ?

This was sitting on our bench, thanks Doug,  when I got off the phone from our friends in Scotland - really special to get a call from Will & Shelia, catching up with their news (we did talk rugby for a time).  Messenger is brilliant, I was buzzing after talking with them *a happy Rainie*.

Btw, the asparagus (from the garden) rolls were delicious.

The winter blast that has been talked about at great length over the last few days arrived this afternoon - hail, winds, rain, thunder, with plummeting temperatures.  The garden has taken a hammering.
