The Magpie Project

This is one of the CVSA's local furniture re-use industrial estate units which takes donations from the public and sells them on. It is called Magpie, employs 12 individuals and greatly reduces the number of items going to landfill. Once a week the Clyde van calls to uplift anything unsaleable. The unsaleable goods are recycled as metal/paper/fabric etc so nothng is wasted and CVSA get paid per weight of recyleable goods.
