Squatter

I first saw this rabbit visiting our backyard last week. At least I thought it was visiting until it reappeared today. As I drew near, it slowly hopped to the front and across to the opposite side of the house where it seems to be quite at home. While much slower than a wild rabbit, my neighbor and I were unable to catch it. Every time I check, it’s either napping in a protected area or munching away.
