Bah humbug

I was in Winchester today for an excellent conference on Bronze Age archaeology. All the presentations were really interesting and it was good to catch up with people.

Afterwards, I met up with Katie (who had been running an Andante study day today and hence couldn’t make the conference) and we went to the Winchester Christmas market, which started today. The weather had turned suitably chilly, which added to the atmosphere. I was restrained and only bought food but there were lots of lovely things for sale and I may have to go back another day.
