I spent a fantastic day at Ickworth with my friend Janice.   We visited the Craft Fair, indulged in tea and scones and then went on a 5 mile walk around the grounds in truly beautiful sunshine.    As I've two days off next week I'll probably spend one of them there again, the trees looked so glorious in the late autumn sunshine, it was so good to be out in the crisp fresh air.
A marked contrast to the wet and murky day we had yesterday, befitting the sombre time we spent attending the funeral of my late brothers grandson Gavin who passed away suddenly aged just 37.
