On A Clear Day

I was out twice this morning before SWMBO raised her head.
Once was to post a cheque and buy a birthday card for SWMBO.
The other was to collect the flowers (in the extras) I had arranged yesterday.
I was intending doing it all in one trip but there were noises as if SWMBO was getting up and I thought it wise to at least have a card waiting for her.
As it was I was able to go back out and get the flowers before she got up ….. and she didn't even realise I had been out.

It was very mild when I first went out but by lunchtime the wind was beginning to pick up and the temperature had dropped dramatically.
