LOCAL BUMP

The sun doesn't just shine in Spain, you know!  I'm very attached to the wee bump in the park at the end of our street. I don't know its history, but it is man-made and probably related to coal mining.  But it has such a captivating sweep.  It's also great for sledging. 

I'd hoped my son and heir would come to help me in the garden today, but he was too unwell.  I cleared a bed and prepared it for planting the new raspberry canes.  Had to have a wee siesta after that effort.
