Fungi ...

Quiet day - ventured out for the paper via the Black Spout Woods and Atholl Palace hotel. We sometimes spot deer and/or red squirrels on this route but alas not today. 

Town itself was extremely quite - a rare weekend when they're is nothing happening (we're between Enchanted Forest and Christmas season at  PFT) coupled with replacement train service to Perth, and Perth Christmas lights being switched on later today.

I spotted these fungi whilst walking up the road with my fun guy (sorry - couldnt resit it !) :-)
