A time for everything

Knitting project

Sunday
We had to get Jen and Jason down to the airport around noon, so we skipped church this morning, so we could spend the morning with them and enjoy a leisurely breakfast together. It was a sunny dry and mild day, so after a quick lunch of leftovers, Roger got busy outside, getting up what will hopefully be the last of the leaves, and starting to put up our Christmas lights. I, unfortunately, spent the afternoon inside doing some domestic chores and assembling our artificial tree, which takes forever when there's just one person doing it. When the kids were more local, they would help and it would go much more quickly. I miss my helpers! By the time evening rolled around, I realized I still didnt have a blip , so I snapped a quick blip of the scarf I'm knitting for our knitting ministry at church. We sent off a big package of around 14 sweaters and 34 scarves to an orphanage in Russia the other week, so I'm not sure where this one will go - maybe to a homelesss shelter - but it will certainly find a good home somewhere.
