General Strike 1918
Directly after the end of WW1, the general strike in Switzerland lasted only 3 days (12-14 Nov 1918) but is still considered today to be one of the most important social conflicts in Swiss history. The government engaged part of the army and three strikers were killed, marking the end of the conflict and then opening the way forward to many social and political changes.
