Chasing the moon

I had resolved to take some shots of the moon this morning. When I woke, there it was - full, bright, sharp. I had also seen some beautiful blips of that self same moon. I need to make my contribution. I was going to catch it as it set and throwing out those wonderful colours.

So up early and readied myself to take on the cold. Camera battery flat. OK then, there is the iphone.

Dog both excited and maybe confused and off we set. Some clouds were coming in. Ok then, they'll reflect and enhance the colours. The clouds kept coming in. Ok then, I'll get a good shot of the moon peeping through. The clouds kept coming in. I looked at the dog - 'Where's the moon gone then?' She didn't reply, her interests were elsewhere.

OK then, the sunrise will have to do.
